There was a time when I thought that people had to have a lot of common interests to become friends. PFOD is one of the people who's shown me that even dissimilar personalities can engender some of the best friendships you could ever hope to forge.
Then again, I've discovered that we have quite a bit in common, so perhaps the lesson was for naught.
