Here it is, first comic of '06. *waves victory flag*

Amazing how many drawings it takes to convey a simple concept. As the author, I know the significance of each strip but I hope that the reader can glean enough at least to know that the story is moving. I'm as impatient as anyone, I want instant gratification... to jump right into the meat of the story. *pretends to ignore the tip of Zakaru's blade at his back* But it'll make more sense this way. -_-;

And look, I've brought the storyline back around to the chapter title. Progress!

Speaking of which, I drew this strip a little differently. Rather than inking it by hand I scanned the pencil sketch and retraced it with the tablet. Didn't make much difference, but I'll keep working on strengthening my technique as we go along.

With this, I hope to have Eldritch back on track. To be honest, I'll be moving this week (I'm officially San Franciscan!). But we'll see how it goes. OUCH! Dammit, Zakaru! ><
